CHUNG Hyun
Korean Sculptor · b. 1956
CHUNG Hyun gives new life and value to discarded and forgotten materials — wooden railway ties, asphalt, wood charred by fire, crushed iron and rusted rebar — working them into standing human figures. Across more than three decades his sculptures hold memory, endurance and the quiet traces of a life.
